Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Google Earth 3) by Philippe Cognée was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. It achieved a price of EUR 9,375.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Cognée - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vanité No. 6, which sold at auction in October 2021 for EUR 37,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Google Earth 3) von Philippe Cognée kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Cognée mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vanité No. 6 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für EUR 37.500,00 versteigert wurde.
