The work Sans titre by Philippe Cognée was sold in the Post War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Paris in December 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,250.00 61% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Cognée - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vanité No. 6, which sold at auction in October 2021 for EUR 37,500.00.

Die Arbeit Sans titre von Philippe Cognée wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.250,00 und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Cognée mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vanité No. 6 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für EUR 37.500,00 versteigert wurde.
