Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L.A. Zone 4 by Philippe Cognée was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Paris in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 10,080.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Cognée - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vanité No. 6, which sold at auction in October 2021 for EUR 37,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L.A. Zone 4 von Philippe Cognée wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 10.080,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Cognée mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vanité No. 6 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für EUR 37.500,00 versteigert wurde.
