Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Designs For Colby Poster Company) by Peter Coffin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,835.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Coffin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pirate in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 140,276.71).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.835,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
