Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Designs for Colby Poster Co., Nico Wallays set) by Peter Coffin was sold in the First Open/LDN auction at Christies in London in September 2014. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,495.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Coffin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pirate in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 140,276.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Designs for Colby Poster Co., Nico Wallays set) von Peter Coffin wurde im September 2014 in der Auktion First Open/LDN bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.495,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Coffin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pirate im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 140.276,71).
