Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,495.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Coffin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pirate in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 140,276.71).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.495,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Coffin erzielen.
