Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A landscape with boats in a canal and cottages by the shore by Paulus van Liender was sold in the The Scholars Eye: Property from the Julius Held Collection Part II auction at Christies in New York in January 2009. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,464.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paulus van Liender have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter landscape with figures skating on ice in front of the Oostpoort, Delft in November 2011 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.

Die Arbeit A landscape with boats in a canal and cottages by the shore von Paulus van Liender wurde im Januar 2009 in der Auktion The Scholars Eye: Property from the Julius Held Collection Part II bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.464,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00.
