In December 2018 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Works on Paper: Prints and Drawings for under £5,000, which included the work View in Utrecht on the river Vecht, the factory Zijdebalen to the right, the Knollenbrug and the Dom tower beyond by Paulus van Liender. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,228.18), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Paulus van Liender have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter landscape with figures skating on ice in front of the Oostpoort, Delft in November 2011 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.

Im Dezember 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Works on Paper: Prints and Drawings for under £5,000 durch, in der auch die Arbeit View in Utrecht on the river Vecht, the factory Zijdebalen to the right, the Knollenbrug and the Dom tower beyond von Paulus van Liender zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.228,18) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paulus van Liender auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A winter landscape with figures skating on ice in front of the Oostpoort, Delft im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.500,00.
