In July 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Works on Paper, which included the work View Of The Martinuskerk In Woudrichem by Paulus van Liender. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,650.14), 58% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Paulus van Liender have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter landscape with figures skating on ice in front of the Oostpoort, Delft in November 2011 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.

Im Juli 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Of The Martinuskerk In Woudrichem von Paulus van Liender zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.650,14) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paulus van Liender auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A winter landscape with figures skating on ice in front of the Oostpoort, Delft im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.500,00.
