This work without title by Paul Cowan was sold in the First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in July 2018. The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,562.79) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Cowan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bceause The Sky Is Blue, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,680.74).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paul Cowan wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.562,79) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Cowan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bceause The Sky Is Blue beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.680,74) versteigert wurde.
