Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Paul Cowan for GBP 504.00 (€ 591.04). This price was achieved in the auction Heatwave: Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Paul Cowan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bceause The Sky Is Blue in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,680.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2021 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paul Cowan für GBP 504,00 (€ 591,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Cowan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bceause The Sky Is Blue im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.680,74).
