Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Three Works by Paul Cowan for USD 375.00 (€ 334.02). This price was achieved in the auction First Open | Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Cowan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bceause The Sky Is Blue in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,680.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Three Works von Paul Cowan für USD 375,00 (€ 334,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open | Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Cowan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bceause The Sky Is Blue im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.680,74).
