Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Christies in New York held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Progress in Love on the Slow Side by Jean Paulhan by Paul Chan. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,900.00 (€ 19,319.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Paul Chan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December last year the work The Body of Oh Rosette (True Type Font) was auctioned for USD 30,240.00 (€ 28,266.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Progress in Love on the Slow Side by Jean Paulhan von Paul Chan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 19.319,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Paul Chan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres die Arbeit The Body of Oh Rosette (True Type Font) für USD 30.240,00 (€ 28.266,97) versteigert.
