The work Star by Patrick Nagel was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September this year. It achieved a price of USD 101,600.00 (€ 95,993.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Patrick Nagel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kristen, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 300,000.00 (€ 269,082.43).

Die Arbeit Star von Patrick Nagel wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 101.600,00 (€ 95.993,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45%. Für andere Arbeiten von Patrick Nagel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kristen beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 300.000,00 (€ 269.082,43) versteigert wurde.
