Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Dance by Olga Tobreluts. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,847.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Olga Tobreluts - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Transcoded Structure, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 25,200.00 (€ 28,150.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2008 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dance von Olga Tobreluts zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.847,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Olga Tobreluts mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Transcoded Structure beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 25.200,00 (€ 28.150,65) versteigert wurde.
