Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary East, which included the work Model by Olga Tobreluts. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,600.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Olga Tobreluts have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Transcoded Structure in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 28,150.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Model von Olga Tobreluts zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.600,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olga Tobreluts auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Transcoded Structure im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 28.150,65).
