Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2015 Phillips in London held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Lux XII by Nicolas Schöffer. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,812.42). Admittedly, works by Nicolas Schöffer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spatiodynamique 24, 1955 in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2015 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lux XII von Nicolas Schöffer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.812,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolas Schöffer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spatiodynamique 24, 1955 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
