Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Varetra - 1975 by Nicolas Schöffer was sold in the More auction at Artcurial in Paris in September 2019. The price achieved of EUR 1,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Schöffer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spatiodynamique 24, 1955 in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Varetra - 1975 von Nicolas Schöffer wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion More bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Schöffer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spatiodynamique 24, 1955 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
