It achieved a price of EUR 10,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67 %. Admittedly, works by Nicolas Schöffer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spatiodynamique 24, 1955 in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.

Die Arbeit Lux 12 von Nicolas Schöffer wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolas Schöffer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spatiodynamique 24, 1955 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
