Estimate exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nicolas Schöffer achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in June 2015. In the ACHENBACH Art Auction auction, the work Lumino sold for EUR 1,264.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Schöffer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spatiodynamique 24, 1955 in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicolas Schöffer erzielte im Juni 2015 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ACHENBACH Art Auction wurde die Arbeit Lumino für EUR 1.264,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Schöffer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spatiodynamique 24, 1955 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
