In March 2011 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (four works, from Once Upon a Time) by Nedko Solakov. The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,230.42) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nedko Solakov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Romantic landscapes with missing parts in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 60,050.00 (€ 70,733.88).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im März 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (four works, from Once Upon a Time) von Nedko Solakov zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.230,42) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nedko Solakov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Romantic landscapes with missing parts im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.050,00 (€ 70.733,88).
