The work Drawing for an Imaginary Construction by Naum Gabo was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper auction at Christies in New York in November 2018. The »bidding war« ended at USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,351.32), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Naum Gabo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Linear Construction in Space No. 2 in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 515,250.00 (€ 597,653.05).

Die Arbeit Drawing for an Imaginary Construction von Naum Gabo wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.351,32) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Naum Gabo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Linear Construction in Space No. 2 im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 515.250,00 (€ 597.653,05).
