Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Under Yellow Sky by Mordecai Ardon was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 69,300.00 (€ 56,831.23), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mordecai Ardon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Awakening in December 2014 with an auction result of USD 821,000.00 (€ 678,456.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Under Yellow Sky von Mordecai Ardon wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 56.831,23) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mordecai Ardon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Awakening im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 821.000,00 (€ 678.456,33).
