The »bidding war« ended at USD 87,500.00 (€ 79,408.29), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mordecai Ardon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Awakening in December 2014 with an auction result of USD 821,000.00 (€ 678,456.33).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 79.408,29) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mordecai Ardon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Awakening im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 821.000,00 (€ 678.456,33).
