This artwork by Mohammad Rawas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in March 2014. In the Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art Including Masterpieces from The Pharos Art Collection & From The Maath Alousi Collection auction, the work without title sold for USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,219.28) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mohammad Rawas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Revisiting Picasso's Guernica, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 64,844.37).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mohammad Rawas erzielte im März 2014 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art Including Masterpieces from The Pharos Art Collection & From The Maath Alousi Collection wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.219,28) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mohammad Rawas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Revisiting Picasso's Guernica beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 64.844,37) versteigert wurde.
