The work "Beauty & Beast", 1996 by Michel Comte was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021. It achieved a price of SEK 210,000.00 (€ 20,484.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Comte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Carla Bruni, 1993, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,453.24).

Die Arbeit "Beauty & Beast", 1996 von Michel Comte kam im November 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 210.000,00 (€ 20.484,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Für andere Arbeiten von Michel Comte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Carla Bruni, 1993 beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 91.000,00 (€ 58.453,24) versteigert wurde.
