Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michel Comte could be acquired at Artcurial in Paris in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Robert William Burke auction, the work Mode - 1978 changed hands for EUR 656.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel Comte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Carla Bruni, 1993 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,453.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michel Comte konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Robert William Burke wechselte die Arbeit Mode - 1978 für EUR 656,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel Comte erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Carla Bruni, 1993 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 91.000,00 (€ 58.453,24).
