Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Helena Christensen III, Safe Sex Campaign by Michel Comte was auctioned at Phillips in London in May 2021. The price achieved of GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,330.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michel Comte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Carla Bruni, 1993 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,453.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Helena Christensen III, Safe Sex Campaign von Michel Comte kam im Mai 2021 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.330,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michel Comte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Carla Bruni, 1993 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 91.000,00 (€ 58.453,24).
