Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Img_691 (Monochrome) by Michael Staniak was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,341.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Staniak - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work IMG_885 (holographic), which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,532.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Img_691 (Monochrome) von Michael Staniak kam im Februar 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.341,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Michael Staniak mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit IMG_885 (holographic) beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.532,86) versteigert wurde.
