In April 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "IMG_043 (holographic)" by Michael Staniak. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,408.56), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Michael Staniak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work IMG_885 (holographic) in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,532.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "IMG_043 (holographic)" von Michael Staniak zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.408,56) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Staniak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit IMG_885 (holographic) im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.532,86).
