The work SC/IMG_92 by Michael Staniak was sold in the Wired: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in November last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,772.00 (€ 3,212.12), 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Michael Staniak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work IMG_885 (holographic) in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,532.86).

Die Arbeit SC/IMG_92 von Michael Staniak wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.772,00 (€ 3.212,12) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Staniak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit IMG_885 (holographic) im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.532,86).
