Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 6,300.00 (€ 6,341.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Eastman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Isabella's Two Chairs with Laundry, 2000 in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 22,100.00 (€ 28,112.17).

Die Arbeit Three Fans, Havana von Michael Eastman kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.300,00 (€ 6.341,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
