In April 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Palazzo #1, Venice by Michael Eastman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,120.00 (€ 12,568.58), 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Eastman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Isabella's Two Chairs with Laundry, 2000, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 22,100.00 (€ 28,112.17).

Im April 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Palazzo #1, Venice von Michael Eastman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 12.568,58) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Michael Eastman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Isabella's Two Chairs with Laundry, 2000 beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für GBP 22.100,00 (€ 28.112,17) versteigert wurde.
