Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Impression De Boulevard: La Femme À La Voilette (Dame À La Voilette) by Medardo Rosso was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2011. The price achieved of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 54,485.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Medardo Rosso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Enfant Juif in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 341,000.00 (€ 476,973.83).

Die Arbeit Impression De Boulevard: La Femme À La Voilette (Dame À La Voilette) von Medardo Rosso kam im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 54.485,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Medardo Rosso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Enfant Juif im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 341.000,00 (€ 476.973,83).
