This artwork by Medardo Rosso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2015. In the The Italian Sale auction, the work Enfant Juif sold for GBP 341,000.00 (€ 476,973.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 180,000.00. This high result makes Enfant Juif the most expensive artwork by Medardo Rosso that we have observed at auctions so far.
