This work without title by Maureen Gallace was sold in the First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in July 2017. It achieved a price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,683.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Maureen Gallace have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Off of Sunset in March last year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 56,792.57).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.683,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maureen Gallace auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Off of Sunset im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 56.792,57).
