Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Yellow Bouquet) by Maureen Gallace was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in September 2014. The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,444.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maureen Gallace achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Off of Sunset in March last year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 56,792.57).
