This artwork by Maureen Gallace achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in December 2019. In the Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped auction, the work Cape Cod Christmas sold for USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,360.65) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maureen Gallace have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Off of Sunset in March last year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 56,792.57).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Maureen Gallace erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped wurde die Arbeit Cape Cod Christmas für USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.360,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maureen Gallace auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Off of Sunset im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 56.792,57).
