The work Early October by Maureen Gallace was worth GBP 50,400.00 (€ 56,263.41) to a buyer in November 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Wired: Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Maureen Gallace; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Off of Sunset sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of USD 63,000.00 (€ 56,792.57).
