Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bare Trees Winter by Maureen Gallace was auctioned at Phillips in New York in February 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,949.71). Admittedly, works by Maureen Gallace have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Off of Sunset in March last year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 56,792.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bare Trees Winter von Maureen Gallace kam im Februar 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.949,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maureen Gallace auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Off of Sunset im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 56.792,57).
