In September 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work You are the Weather (Gravity High) for R.H. by Matthew Ritchie. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,791.79) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matthew Ritchie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Big Life oil and ink on canvas 88 x 154 in. (223.5 x 391.2 cm.) Executed in 2002. The Essential Diagrams 12 vinyl decals dimensions variable Executed in 2002. This work is number nine from an edition of twelve. in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 289,000.00 (€ 196,759.26).

Im September 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit You are the Weather (Gravity High) for R.H. von Matthew Ritchie zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.791,79) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matthew Ritchie erzielen.
