Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Alma by Matt Connors was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2020. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,529.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Matt Connors have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Second Pitch - Shift in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 106,352.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Alma von Matt Connors kam im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.529,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matt Connors auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Second Pitch - Shift im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 106.352,81).
