In March this year Phillips held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by Matt Connors. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,620.00 (€ 7,008.83), 52% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matt Connors achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Second Pitch - Shift in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 106,352.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 52 % übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Matt Connors zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.620,00 (€ 7.008,83) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matt Connors erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Second Pitch - Shift im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 106.352,81).
