Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The King'S Sons Shooting Their Father'S Corpse (B. 4) by Master MZ was sold in the Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints auction at Christies in London in December 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,151.00 (€ 3,046.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Master MZ have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Ball (The Palace Of Duke Albert Iv At Munich) in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 28,856.48).
