This artwork by Master MZ achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in November this year. In the Dance of Death auction, the work Memento Mori (Vanitas) sold for USD 3,072.00 (€ 2,816.28) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Master MZ achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ball (The Palace Of Duke Albert Iv At Munich) in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 28,856.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Master MZ erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dance of Death wurde die Arbeit Memento Mori (Vanitas) für USD 3.072,00 (€ 2.816,28) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Master MZ erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Ball (The Palace Of Duke Albert Iv At Munich) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 28.856,48).
