Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The King's Three Sons Shooting at their Father's Corpse; and The Woman with an Owl (Bartsch 4, 21) by Master MZ was sold in the Old Master Prints auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,254.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Master MZ achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ball (The Palace Of Duke Albert Iv At Munich) in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 28,856.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The King's Three Sons Shooting at their Father's Corpse; and The Woman with an Owl (Bartsch 4, 21) von Master MZ wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Old Master Prints bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.254,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Master MZ erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Ball (The Palace Of Duke Albert Iv At Munich) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 28.856,48).
