Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Box of Ku #379 by Masao Yamamoto was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2007. The price achieved of USD 840.00 (€ 628.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 700.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Masao Yamamoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nakazora in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,651.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Box of Ku #379 von Masao Yamamoto kam im März 2007 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 840,00 (€ 628,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Masao Yamamoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nakazora im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.651,68).
