Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Bonhams in London held the auction Photographs Now The Collector's Edition, which included the work Untitled #1178 (from the series 'A Box of Ku') by Masao Yamamoto. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,152.00 (€ 1,045.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Masao Yamamoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nakazora in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,651.68).
