Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work C.p 119-2 by Masaaki Yamada. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,562.50 (€ 8,397.51). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Masaaki Yamada achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work C. 98 in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 121,123.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit C.p 119-2 von Masaaki Yamada zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.562,50 (€ 8.397,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Masaaki Yamada erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work C. 98 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 121.123,30).
