Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Work F.36 by Masaaki Yamada was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2020. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,359.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Masaaki Yamada achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work C. 98 in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 121,123.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Work F.36 von Masaaki Yamada kam im April 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.359,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Masaaki Yamada erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work C. 98 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 121.123,30).
