The work Work C.379 by Masaaki Yamada was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 502,500.00 (€ 53,800.50), 32% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Masaaki Yamada - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work C. 98, which sold at auction in November 2017 for HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 121,123.30).

Die Arbeit Work C.379 von Masaaki Yamada wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 502.500,00 (€ 53.800,50) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Masaaki Yamada mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work C. 98 beobachtet, die im November 2017 für HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 121.123,30) versteigert wurde.
